Performing and modeling since the age of 14, this white female rapper from Detroit, Michigan was breaking the cultural stereotypes for her artistry before it became acceptable. Educated at a Private Arts school, Adrian College, Rook focused her passion on writing and performing while earning a BA in Business and Marketing. She won Best New Artist at the Ohio Hip Hop Awards 2011 and won Best Rapper on “Put Me On Live” Showcase City tour, Toledo, OH 2011. Her accomplishments include opening for Crime Mob in Atlanta of 2009, The Cool Kids and Khia, Plus performing with Calico Jones, the S.O.D Money Gang Entertainment Team, Three Six Mafia's Lil Wyte and Jellyroll. In October 2011, Rook recorded a demo with Young Money credited songwriter and Creative Director, Evan Roberts (ASCAP).
