About me

My name is Steve Gregson. I was born in Stockton On Tees, a small town in the North East of England. After finishing a degree at Middlesex University, my heart and home was firmly set in London, where I now reside and have done for a decade. I love to travel seeing the world and I am at my best when meeting new people. I always take the time to get to know the person I'm shooting. I love photography in all forms, genres and styles. My website is a reflection of this. Displaying photographs that I have taken that say a little about me and what I enjoy, as opposed to just exhibiting portrait photography. Working in education and as a theatre designer enables me to keep my passion for creativity flowing, which transfers into my photography. I frequently explore different ideas, concepts and projects within my work. A lot of which I do not display on my website. I have several ongoing projects and would be happy to discuss them with you on a one to one basis. I do not limit myself to one 'style' within photography. I love the opportunity to seal a single moment in time, captured forever. For me taking photographs is a passion, something I do because I enjoy it. I am not motivated by money, which is reflected in the way in which I work. Working in education makes me very approachable, adaptable and able to work with a range of clients of all ages and abilities.
